Windsor, ON February 1, 2017 – Family minded and entrepreneurial driven power team, Ben and Lisa Snow make the move back home to Windsor, Ontario to proudly join the Men In Kilts family as our newest Franchise Owners. Windsor is going to be a great place to bring a fun brand like Men In Kilts that can provide professional window washing services.
Locally born and raised Ben Snow, along with his wife Lisa, is excited to open the 5th location in Ontario and bring Men In Kilts to his hometown of Windsor. Ben & Lisa are surrounded by family and friends cheering them on as they venture out to grow their new business. “The reactions were as expected and we have received nothing but positivity and support,” explained Ben, “Everyone thinks that the decision to join Men In Kilts will be a great fit!”
“Lisa and I want to build the business together, create jobs and serving the community as a company that is liked, trusted and credible,” explains Ben. “Windsor is an awesome place to live and it’s going to be even more incredible with Men In Kilts as a staple in the community.”
Within the first week of travelling back to Windsor, Ben had already contacted builders, property managers and potential residential clients, reviving those relationships that he had built as a young man in the community. Chris Carrier, CEO of Men In Kilts, says, “I can describe Ben in three words, ‘he’s a magnet!’ Ben has amazing energy and enthusiasm, it really is contagious and I’m looking forward to hearing praises from customers as he puts that Men In Kilts polish on his customer service skills.”
“Entrepreneurs think outside of the box, exploring options that offer an investment opportunity and are an exciting new adventure,” says Chris. “Men In Kilts is a unique franchise that offers that on many levels. People are tired of sitting behind a desk and are bored of wearing pants! The proven success in Toronto, London, Orillia and Ottawa is appealing to investors like Ben and Lisa. With brand that stands out amongst all others, our franchise support systems and an untapped market, it’s no wonder we appeal to so many great entrepreneurs. Windsor has a humid climate with four distinct seasons, which aligns nicely with the year-round services offered by Men In Kilts. Our professional, kilt-wearing technicians provide interior and exterior maintenance services including window washing, gutter cleaning, pressure washing and snow removal to both residential and commercial customers.”
When Ben first heard of Men In Kilts, back in Calgary, AB, he felt that he just had to be a part of he team! Ben says, “When opportunity comes a knocking, it’s time to answer the door and take a big, bold step forward in realizing your dreams! Seizing that opportunity came with a lot of decisions to be made… We left our jobs, we moved, and now we’re doing something we’ve never done before and we’re excited to be in control of our future.
Chris says, “Ben and Lisa look forward to making their franchise part of the community by building a team that provides amazing service while bringing joy to those they come into contact with… one kilt at a time. The company continues its expansion across Canada and the US, and we look to partner with those individuals that ‘get’ the brand, live the values, and want to join us in our mission. Men In Kilts will be a household name across North America soon enough. For us it’s not about growing big, it’s about building something great that will stand the test of time, for Ben, Lisa and all of our fantastic Franchise Owners.”
About Men In Kilts
Men In Kilts was started in 2002 by Nicholas Brand, the son of a Scottish immigrant, who fashioned a hand-sewn kilt and put a visual to the otherwise faceless window cleaner. By 2009, the location had grown to over one million in revenue and caught the attention of Tressa Wood, former VP of Operations from 1-800-GOT-JUNK?. Wood joined the team as CEO and began the process of franchising the company. In January 2015, after 23 years running his own multi-million-dollar window cleaning company, Chris Carrier became Men In Kilts’ newest CEO. He bleeds tartan and is excited for the opportunity to assist in growing Men In Kilts across North America. Now with 23 locations across North America, Men In Kilts continues to grow and to bring smiles to the world… One kilt at a time.
